  • This was a group assignment in a class at school. We were given an actual client - a Colombian cosmetics company. The objective of this project was to assist the client in developing a new line of products that would appeal to men. Successful completion of the assignment required identity design, packaging design, and integration of experience design. The concept that my team developed is based on traditionally masculine rituals - working with tools, Changing light bulbs, fixing the drain, shaving - as well as the incorporation of masculine fonts, textures, colors and shapes. While the concept was part of a group discus- sion, I was ultimately responsible for the identity and package design. The client liked our work so much that we were asked to work with them to develop the concept further in preparation for a product launch in 2012.
